Mo Knits

She also gardens, bakes, reads and exercises. But mostly Mo Knits.

About Mo

My name is Mo, and I am obsessed with knitting.

I firmly believe in choosing the absolute best knitting yarn you can afford, as this makes the most rewarding partnership between a knitter and her/his knitting. With this in mind I boldly state:

Even novice knitters deserve cashmere, silk, kid mohair, quiviut and buffalo down.

Even though I enjoy fine things, I refuse to look down my nose at Wal-Mart acrylic. In my world, there is room for both. Grandma taught me crochet using Red Heart, and my all-time favorite workhorse mittens, made by my mother-in-law, are acrylic!

I love my life, my husband, my daughter, my family (yes Noah and Zoe, this means you.), and my friends. I try not to take myself too seriously.

  1. Love your beautiful pattern, the yummy yarn and your cowboy (girl?) hat! I’d love to try the yarn and your pattern.

  2. I love the bold statement in your bio: “Even novice knitters deserve cashmere, silk, kid mohair and buffalo down.” I’m far from a novice, and I’ve never knit with any of those fibers. Six kids really limits the yarn budget. And at 40 find myself expecting #7! How ’bout a little luxury for me to knit up as I beach myself on the couch each evening for the final two months??!! OOHH something lovely for baby girl? Rav amchart
